The Queens Hospital Center in New York has been among the hardest hit spots in the nation by COVID-19. By sending these letters of gratitude the hospital staff fighting the virus on the frontlines, we hope to bring a warmth into their draining day-to-day work, to offer reassurance that there is light at the end of the tunnel. We are ever grateful for the selflessness our nation's medical workers are displaying in the face of the pandemic, and these words of kindness are one of the littlest ways we can give back. While transcribing digital submissions, we were amazed at the sincerity and eloquence with which everyone crafted their letters.
